Massage can be an important part of a healthy lifestyle: soothing muscles made sore from exercise, decreasing stress levels and providing a calming influence during pregnancy. The Center for Health and Fitness (CHF) offers Swedish-style massage combined with elements of Shiatsu, sports massage, deep tissue, reflexology and Reiki to achieve optimal results. The CHF masseuse works with you to determine areas of focus and to adjust pressure to your preference. Bottom line...you're going to leave here feeling incredible!

What is Restorative Movement Massage (RMM)?
This unique form of therapy blends gentle muscular movement, trigger point work, stretching, and some traditional massage techniques for a holistic approach to the body aimed at resolving musculoskeletal problems. RMM is designed to restore and optimize your functional range of motion, and can provide significant relief from muscle and joint pain.
Why Invest in Restorative Movement Massage?
Most chronic musculoskeletal pain or injury is caused by imbalances in muscle strength or flexibility; either due to an old injury, repeated, long-term movement patterns (sitting, or sports-specific movements, for example), or the structure of your skeleton. While some massage techniques may offer temporary relaxation and pain relief, RMM aims to find the cause of pain and works to strengthen those weak links to prevent future recurrence of your problem. For those with painful joint conditions, RMM works towards maximizing the range of motion (ROM) of the muscle, in order to reduce stress on the joint and decrease your pain and discomfort so you can get back to doing what you love.
To schedule a session, call 310-374-3426, ext. 147. 4-pack expires 2 months from date of purchase. 12-pack expires 8 months from date of purchase.
